Our client, an Asset Management firm based in the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg, is currently looking for a Senior Financial Corporate Accountant (m/f) speaking Danish & English
THE ROLE
The Senior Financial Corporate Accountant will join a team of 5 people and will be in charge of the general
accounting for some European locations (France, Denmark and Switzerland). The Senior Financial Corporate
Accountant will report directly to the Deputy European Financial Controller, based in Luxembourg.
The main responsabilities:
– Responsible for monthly, quarterly and year-end closings
– Responsible for the internal reporting to the headquarters in London and to the local offices
– In charge of external reporting to the regulators
– Responsible for key controls, reconciliations and adequate documentation
– Responsible for tax compliance of the own entities
– Maintain and own the integrity of financial records
– Providing timely, accurate and business relevant financial commentary and business decision support
– Act as the liaison point for all third-party matters (auditors, tax consultants etc.)
– Proactively seek opportunities for process improvements
THE CANDIDATE PROFILE
– At least 3-5 years accounting, financial or auditing experience, ideally gained in an asset management business and with a good understanding of tax compliance issues (international VAT and corporate tax)
– Knowledge of the Transfer Pricing rules is an advantage
– An accounting qualifications (e.g. ACCA, ACA)
– Fluency in Danish & English
– Strong Excel knowledge and an experience in the use of a corporate accounting system (e.g. ORACLE, SAP)
– Organizational skills, team spirit and ability to work on her/his own
